   On February 20th at 11:00 A.M., 2018 spring graduation ceremony was held in the Main Hall. On this day, 2,501 students of Dongguk University received their Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctor’s degrees.

   In the beginning of the ceremony, President Han Tae-sik (Bogwang) said, “The students’ efforts come to fruition of graduation and I applause the graduates of our university.” After that, Ven Jagwang Sunim, the Head of the Board of Trustees, announced, “The Natural Law is made by not God, but interrelation between all situation and people. So, getting good relations with others is very important in your life.”

   12 students including Kim Myeong-ju (Department of Buddhsim) received the Achievement Award of the President, the Head of the Board of Trustees, and the Alumni President of Dongguk University. Besides, Kwon O-chun, who supported many young artists, received Honorary docorate degrees at this commencement. Finally, Kwon O-chun said, "I thought that we always keep in mind three keywords changing myself, first to do thing and devotion to others."
