The Committee is responsible for setting the registration fee, discussing budget and balancing accounts for Dongguk University. It consisted of four student representatives, one external specialist, four university council members and three assistant administrators or clerks. Kim Jeong-do, the chairperson of the General Student Council, and Choi Hwi-ju, the chairperson of the College of Education participated in Tuition Fee Review Commision as student representatives. Chairperson Kim said, “I think that the tuition freeze can not relieve the crushing burdens of the students. We have a long way forward for the better students' society still. Nevertheless, I think that the tuition has been frozen for nine years is a hopeful news.” He showed his opinion about Tuition Fee Review Commision saying, “As previous system of the committee is shortage, the way of the committee to proceed forward should be more systematic than now.”
Detailed report is given at the line below. The conference determined overall admission and tuition of the year. In the process, all student representatives expressed their concerns about the increase tuition of international students. Finally, supporting money increased for students to be served as remodeling and repair work for learning environment. Kim Jeong-eun (Sophomore, Department of Media Communication) mentioned, “I think it is a jump for the development that admission fee is abolished stage by stage. As details of spending the fee have been uncertain until now.” Even though, she said, “A complete abolishment will be achieved in 2020. Because reduced entrance fee of this year is quite demanding, too.”
