   On January 30th at 12:30 P.M., joint press conference was held in front of the Main Hall lobby to require the school to replace the number of the cleaning workers. Dongguk University Facilities Maintenece Branch of the Korean Democracy and Federacy Workers' Union and So-dong association, which is a group of Donggukians banding together with the cleaning laborers.

   Three Donggukinas annouced that the school must not give the cleaning work to the working scholarship students but the cleaning workers. One of the students Choi Hwi-joo (Senior, Department of Korean Language Education) said, "I do not understand why the school do not communicate with us. The school should try to communicate with the students and the workers. We are ready to communicate and will stay here to talk about this problem."

   At the end of the conference, the participants read aloud the press conferecne statements and broke into chants.
