   On November 3rd, celebrating students’ day, a cultural festival was held in Dongguk University to express students’ opinion to oppose Park Geun-hye administration.

   Students marched from each building in the campus to Paljungdo with five-color balloons with a phrase “Park Geun-hye's resignation.” At Paljungdo, seven students and one professor commented about current situation and said that it was caused by the shadow power’s political intervention and recited the slogan all together. Then they walked around Paljungdo with Pungmul band and threw balloons away to the sky.

   Shin Seung-min (Junior, College of Law) said, “When I participated in the previous assembly, I could hear a senior citizen requesting for the young to keep our country.” He added, “Although I am not a prosecutor but just a student, I am asking for investigating officers to investigate current situation without sanctuary.”

   Han Cheol-ho, the professor of the Department of Historical Education, said, “Thanks to students’ sense of justice and howl towards the truth, our history have developed. I believe that not only resignation of the president but also making new history will be realized. I will try hard to be a respectable adult and professor.”

   Hyeon da-eun, the chairperson of the Department of Korean Language Education, a participant of the event, said, “When I saw balloons flying up to the sky, I felt like the students were showing the 304 victims of Sewol Ferry Incident, farmer Baek Nam-gi, and ancestors who had fought for democracy that we are still striving hard.”

   In the end, An Dre, the chairperson of the General Student Council (GSC) informed about the future plans regarding the issue. According to his words, on November 5th, capital area’s assembly of nationwide university students will be held at Marronnier Park. In addition, on November 12th, there will be the public stand up concerning the current situation.
