In early March 2016, Center for Teaching & Learning Research will release four potable books for freshmen. Those books may help new Donggukians adjust their university lives more easily. In particular, they guide new students on how to keep up with their university lectures.

   Books from Center for Teaching & Learning Research are divided into four different topics: learning strategies, presentation techniques, writing strategies, and cooperative learning, under the titles “EASY Learning Strategy for an enjoyable lesson”, “Presentation Technique for an Assignment”, “Less Difficult, More Fascinating Writing”, and “Guide for Cooperative Learning” respectively. Regarding the author of the book, it is written by a lecturer who led a 2015 workshop about how to study for college students.

   Those books are not only for freshmen at Dongguk University, but also for other people. That is, anybody is able to take books from Center for Teaching & Learning Research located on the third floor of Central Library. The center will offer about 500 to 1,000 copies of books to students.
