A Boat Cannot Move Forward Without Wind and Current

Six months have passed since I first opened the door of The Dongguk Post’s office. Looking back, nothing was easy. From the day I took the entrance exam and until now, everything has been a jumble. I had to hold myself tightly to help myself from being swept away by tons of newspaper works as well as school assignments. To be honest, there were some moments I felt that I could not continue all this work anymore. However, I wanted to overcome it. I believed that this hard time would become strength to endure other possible hardship that I might face in the future. Not only that, as a journalist, my heart bloomed whenever I felt that I was helping other students to know what was really going around in school, the truth. More and more I covered various school events and wrote articles, I felt that sincerity is a crucial virtue to keep as a reporter. As the post reporter, I now resolve myself again to always keep in mind to be sincere, which I hope will lead my articles to be trustworthy.

Definitely, joining The Dongguk Post was the best decision I made last year. 2015 was one of the years that I felt most alive. I thank all my beloved the Post colleagues and seniors for everything. Without them, I would have lost my way. Even though I am still going through quite a lot of confusion, how I consider the times in Dongguk Post has not changed, which becomes a reason to keep opening the door of Dongguk Post’s office.
