   At 1:00 P.M., November 10th, GSC and Pan-Donggukian Ad Hoc Committee held a press conference regarding the intervention of Jogye Order and the opposition to re-election of Ven Ilmyun Sunim as a chairman of the board.

   Kim Geon-jung, the vice chairperson of GSC, who has been on a hunger strike, said, “As Chairman Ven Ilmyun Sunim is still not accepting students' request to resign, my will to fight with the problem is getting stronger. I do not know what I could do more.”

   Han Man-soo, the chairperson of the Faculty Association of Dongguk University, added, “I, myself as a professor, feel embarrassed for not doing anything when a student (Kim Geon-jung) is continuing a hunger strike for such a long period of time (27 days). Thus, I decided to join the hunger strike with Kim Geon-jung.”

   Starting from today, not only Professor Han but also Kim Joon, a professor from the Department of Multimedia, are on the indefinite hunger strike with the Kim (the vice chairperson of GSC). In addition, four other professors will participate in a relay hunger strike.

   After announcing, the GSC and the Faculty Association visited the General Legal Affairs to deliver the press conference statements, asking them to deliver it to Chairman Ilmyun. Park Hyun-sik, the head of general affair of the General Legal Affairs, said, “I will convey this message to the chairman.”
