Dongguk University is one of the institutions that signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Theater of Korea. An MOU is a document that describes the general principles of an agreement between parties, but does not amount to a substantive contract. The National Theater of Korea has started the National Repertory Season, in which audience can book tickets for events early, so that the theater can concentrate on putting on performances of better quality. Dongguk University, as one of the universities which signed the MOU with National Theater of Korea, can receive 50% discount for six plays over the upcoming season, "Sopyeonje," "Matinee Korean Dance," "Ahn Sung-soo, Jung Gu-ho's Dahn," "Park Bum-hun's Sori Yeon," "Media," and "Thy, Non-gae." The event is held from March to June 2013 at Haeorum Theater of National Theater of Korea. The poster at the wall of escalator in Dongguk University Station is "Ahn Sung-soo, Jung Gu-ho's Dahn." The opportunity is given to Dongguk University students to attend high quality performances at cheaper prices. The discount ticket can be purchased through Internet, phone or booking on-site. The Discount is also applied for one accompanying person, and Student ID needs to be presented.
