Change in Course Registration Process at the Institute of Technology
There has recently been a change in the course registration at the Institute of Technology to provide a better service to their students. From now on, the students of the Institute of Technology are unable to register for higher level courses unless they are approved by their professors or have taken the prerequisite course. This change has been applied starting from the second semester of this year. The change is only effective to the courses that are designated by the Department of Technology. Those who wish to register for high level courses must take a test given by the professor. This change has been adapted strictly to better prepare students to learn more about what they want to study. Although this is not the first time of using similar rules, this time the rules have become stricter to block off students who are not ready to take higher level courses. By applying this rule, the Department of Technology hopes that students will be able to learn more about their interests and eventually gain higher grades that better prepares them for the future.
