The Class of ‘81 alumni held a Homecoming Day celebration on Saturday, October 8, to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of their admission to Dongguk University.  The president of the university, Kim Hee-ok, is also an ‘81 alumnus. The alumni paid 100,000 won each for the entrance fee, which will be used to establish the Class of ‘81 Alumni Scholarship Fund. As part of Dongguk’s RE_START Project to develop the university, all alumni are trying their best to donate money that will be used to provide student scholarships totaling 500 million won.
